This was an interesting project, due to the thick leather, and I was able to use the lock that is older than I am.
As with all Tony's patterns, this one was also easy to follow.
I crafted this using 8oz leather and some smaller scraps for the soft parts. The pattern was very easy to work with and instructions on the linked video made this pleasant to do. I used Loxx fasteners for the sides and front and am very pleased with how it turned out. I did not dye my vegetable tanned leather to hopefully get a nice natural patina that will pair well with the style of this bag. I did modify mine so the two side gussets were a full 90 degrees so the front could fold down flat.
I modified the pattern a little using thicker leather and different hardware. This was my first project and I bought a few tools. I'll use this tool bag to contain my tools.

Durch eine Workshop Teilnehmerin wurde ich auf diese Seite aufmerksam gemacht und finde die einzelnen Artikel einfach klasse. This is perfect pattern very versatile, I put my own twist on it. I added strong magnets to hold tools inside. She loves it. Tony's patterns are fool proof. I have purchased many! Do it.
