Samurai Leather Backpack PDF Pattern with Armor Plates and Video Tutorial
The Samurai Backpack is a leather backpack pattern with an armor plated front, X lacing, two side pockets and a flap closed with buckle straps. It finishes at 38 cm tall, 34 cm long and 14 cm deep (15 x 13.5 x 5.5 in).
This is a digital PDF pattern, not a finished bag. Nothing is shipped, you download the files right after purchase.
What you get: the full size pattern in three editions, A4, US Letter and Legal, so it prints 1:1 on your home printer. Each one has a parts map showing where every piece goes, a printer test page and a link to the full build video on YouTube. The side pocket gusset comes in two versions, deep or slim, so you pick the pocket you want. Watch the build here: https://youtu.be/M0RWnn_IYJk
Difficulty and time: intermediate, about 8 to 12 hours.
Materials you will need, not included: around 12 square feet of 6-7 oz leather, 6 x 20 mm buckles, 15 x 9 mm rapid rivets, 2 x 20 mm D-rings and 2 x 20 mm swivel hooks. 10 x 12 mm copper rivets are optional.
Printing: print at actual size, not fit to page, and check the test square before you cut anything.
Copyright and licensing: you can sell up to 10 finished bags made from this pattern each year. The files themselves can't be resold, shared or redistributed in any form, free or paid. Dieselpunk.ro SRL, Tony See Patterns.

Printing & paper sizes
Open the PDF with Adobe Reader and print at "actual size". Do not use "fit to page" or "shrink to fit" — those resize the pattern and the pieces will not line up.
Larger patterns are spread across several sheets. Print them all, line up the marks, and tape the sheets together before you start cutting.
